I absolutely loved this story!

Akira has always known that she had a special gift; she can see and talk to ghosts. She can’t see dead people, just ghosts.

Zane Latimer has a strange family. They all live in the town of Tassamara where everyone has a “gift.” Zane’s gift is that he can find things. If someone has lost something and he touches them, he will be able to tell them where to find it. He can also find people, but only living people.

One day Akira is called for an interview in Florida at some random company she has never heard of. Zane interviews her for a position that even he isn’t sure of. The only thing Zane knows is that his father, Max, insisted that Akira would be a great fit and his sister wants Akira to sign a two year contract.

Akira is then forced to confront her gift publicly to help the Latimer family cope with the deaths of Zane’s nephew, Dillon, and his mother, Rose.

This was a short, but very enjoyable read. I can’t wait to read more by Sarah Wynde and will definitely be doing follow up reviews on the Tassamara books.
