This was a super short, but really fun read. It is the first book in the Tales from Lovecraft Middle School series and I cannot wait to continue this series!!

Robert was recently transferred to the Lovecraft Middle School. When he arrives there he is greeted with his longtime childhood bully, Glenn. Glenn immediately begins to bully Robert and a girl named Karina tries to ask Robert about it, but Robert pushes her away.

Quickly after chasing Karina away, Robert realizes that she was just trying to be his friend and he contacts her. They become good friends and stay that way throughout the book. Karina shows Robert a hidden attic above the library at the Lovecraft Middle School where Robert finds a two headed rat.

Robert soon finds out that there is more to Lovecraft Middle School than meets the eye including his science teacher, Professor Goyle. Robert, Karina, and Glenn must work together to uncover who is running Lovecraft Middle School and protect the rest of the students before it is too late!
