I thoroughly enjoyed this read. This is book one in the Airel Saga and I will absolutely be getting the next few books soon.

Airel is just your average teenage girl. That is, until the new guy Michael Alexander shows up. Ever since she laid eyes on him Airel’s body has been acting strange. It’s as if she has known Michael her entire life. She gets physically ill whenever she is near him and has somehow obtained the ability to heal herself quickly.

While at the movies with Michael, she witnesses a murder. The murderer then begins to stalk her and leaves her a chilling message in her mail box, I know what you are. Airel has no idea what he means by this, but is determined to figure out why this man is following her and what he knows about her.

Airel has started to hear pages turning in the back of her mind. She describes it as having an invisible friend, but the pages turning are telling the ancient story of a family of warriors in Egypt.

Super interesting read that was a great introduction to what I hope will continue to be an exciting story about Airel.
